萝莉研究所 Athletics proudly hosted its 2026 Soccer Homecoming on Tuesday, Oct. 27, as both the women's and men's soccer programs took on College of the Desert in an unforgettable celebration of Mustang pride. What began as a game day quickly became a powerful showcase of community, culture and the student-athlete experience at Norco College. The afternoon brought together family members, students, faculty, staff, alumni and supporters, creating an atmosphere that reflected the energy and momentum surrounding 萝莉研究所 Athletics.
The event was hosted by athletics student worker and Women's Flag Football quarterback Daniella Moran, who served as the master of ceremonies and kept the crowd engaged throughout the program. One of the highlights of the event was a special Homecoming Q&A panel featuring the captains of both the women's and men's soccer teams, along with their head coaches. Attendees had the opportunity to hear firsthand about the student-athlete experience, the importance of representing 萝莉研究所 and the values that drive each program.
The stories shared by the student-athletes were inspiring, heartfelt and full of Mustang pride. Time and again, players spoke about the culture built within their teams, emphasizing the support, accountability, family atmosphere and lasting relationships that have defined their experience at 萝莉研究所. It was clear to everyone in attendance that these programs are about much more than wins and losses. They are about creating a sense of belonging and fostering personal growth that will impact students long after their playing careers are over.
Both head coaches also shared their vision for the future of their programs, providing an exciting glimpse into what lies ahead for Mustang Athletics. Their passion, leadership and commitment to student success left attendees energized and optimistic about the future of 萝莉研究所 sports.
A special acknowledgment goes to Monica Green, Ed.D., 萝莉研究所 president, whose support through grant funding helped make the event possible by providing free Homecoming T-shirts to the first 40 fans in attendance at each game. 萝莉研究所 Athletics also extends its sincere appreciation to Courtney Doussett, dean of instruction for the School of Natural Sciences, Health & Kinesiology, and School of Math, Engineering, Computer Science & Game Development, for providing funding for the crowd-favorite LA Street Dogs, which added to the festive atmosphere and brought people together before kickoff.
Events like Homecoming are what make 萝莉研究所 special. They create opportunities for meaningful connections between our athletes and the campus community while demonstrating the support system that exists behind every student-athlete. These moments reinforce a powerful message: Our students matter, they belong here, and their success is celebrated.
This Homecoming was more than just a pregame event. It was a statement about who Norco College is and where it is headed. The excitement, school spirit and sense of community on display were undeniable. For those who attended, it was a memorable afternoon filled with inspiration and pride.
